If you had $1,000 to spend any way you want, what would you spend it on? This has to be material purchases, i.e., no donating to charities, etc...purely hedonistic items such as jewelry, clothes, shoes, make up, facials, hair, etc...
Personally we are fairly sure we'd be spending our $1000 at the student loan boutique, or perhaps the American Express store. (Really, a big chunk of money like that—what could be nicer than seeing a bill balance go down by that much? We love shopping a bit less when it turns us into indentured servants for various credit card companies. Though we'll add that of all of them American Express, by far and by always, treats us well and fairly and has billion-times-better customer service.)
Er, anyway: We'd spend the money on a week-long yoga retreat in Bali. How we'd get there—once again, we leave it to Amex.

What is your favorite fashion moment from film history?
We had to think about this quite a bit, but our favorite recent fashion moment was actually Leighton Meester wearing a Jennifer Behr headband for TK. She really is, in our opinion, the best dressed character in filmed entertainment at the moment, and when we saw that headband we were just like: How does something so beautiful exist without us knowing about it previously? Historically, we usually go with our inevitable Audrey Hepburn answer—probably Sabrina—but lately we would recommend that movie Priceless for no other reason than the dresses Audrey Tautou wear are unbelievably excellent.
Also, bizarrely, we have perhaps never coveted any accessory so much as we did Scarlett Johansson's Mulberry bag in the otherwise not particularly notable Match Point.

What are your favorite staple clothing items—the kind of thing you buy five of in every color or multiple versions of because they're so perfect for you that you never want to wear them out/run out in case they get discontinued—horrors! Mine would be:
- American Apparel tri-blend v-neck shirts
- These Demise skinny jeans from Forever 21 (above, $29.80) that are awesomely fitted yet stretchy and look like vintage Levi's—but updated!
- Flats from Rainbow
All we will say about this is that we seem to be a new American Apparel hoodie every time we lose ours—though we are hoping we will stem the losing thing now that we've embroidered a giant Gothic-print D on the chest.
Also, black Havaianas, even though our current ones seem to have been infested by some sort of trip-inducing evil spirit.

Oh goodness! Here it is, the contest we've been waiting to debut for ages. The amazing folks at Jocasi are sponsoring it—which means they gave us one of their gorgeous bags to give away. We love Jocasi so much we have no fewer than five in the BS HQ—they could hardly be more awesome. We would likely be capable of more effusion if the washing machine in the apartment we're staying in this weekend hadn't been cycling for literally six hours, but here we are.

(mine is a silver cuff bracelet, that I received as a gift over 10 years ago, and I still wear it all the time. I think it is timeless ... and it makes me feel like Wonder Woman.)

They've done it again. We know, we know, we know. We keep talking about them. But it's impossible not to, especially when they just continually put out products that we drool over. It's like some kind of wretched Pavlovian response, but with happy ends and nice handbags.
We've been talking about scaling down our wallet, and our first thought was this odd little pouch from another designer (that we talked about like, a hot minute ago). We like it a lot, but the color we like is seriously available in one store in California. Who does that? AND someone that we're closely related to wisely said, 'hmph. If it wasn't Marc Jacobs you'd not like it'. She's right, but we were still like must! downsize!
Well, leave it to Jocasi to give us the best option ever. The Mini Moon Wallet is perfect. Excellent color selection (we're really feeling the red and tan), ideal sizing (large enough not to lose, and to function as proper wallet without being large enough to hold losing lottery tickets and bits of scrap paper), and best of all?
