Shoe, Wedge, Mesh?: Is This Ugly?

The letter goes:

dear bunnyshop,

i hope spring finds you well. i've been eyeballing sneaker wedges for a while now and have never been able to buckle down and buy some, mostly because my coworkers run to my keyboard and hit the escape button before i can follow through. all the girls in my office seem to think this style is horrendous. i seem to differ. any thoughts? i saw a girl on the face hunter wearing a really cool black pair and then i found these and thought they'd be good for summer. yes no?

Ah. This is one of those occasions—exactly as you point out, where every fiber of your being says: No! But then you see someone doing a good job with them, and it is all: Yes! Our position: Yes, they are ugly. However, with the proper care and attention, they would look super cool, mostly because everyone will be surprised that they do not look horrible. Know what we mean? We do think the black is a bit easier to work with, because you can just pair them with black tights and sort of let people suss out their true identity slowly. But our vote: go for it.
