A Holiday Notice: What We Can Be Giving To You
Dear Friends of Bunnyshop,
So not like you have 30 million things to do or something—is it us, or December actually so busy that it can't, also, be the most-fun month of the year?—but we are taking the long view here at Bunnyshop these days, and looking to 2008 as the time when we really bust this shit up. So to speak.
So we're asking you this: If you have anything about BS (besides our ridiculous initials, which you think we would have been more concerned about when we named ourselves) you especially like, or especially don't, we would really love to hear. More contests? More prizes? More discounts? More store listings? More interviews with designers? The return of our erstwhile stylist, for asking? Er, so we are actually planning on doing all of those things, but we'd really love to hear what you'd like from us, if anything. Think of it as your Christmas present to us, because nothing makes us happier than knowing what you want. Or diamonds. Etc.

Oh, I second that wholeheartedly: a search box! Many's the time I've stumbled through your archives trying to find a particular something or other I read about weeks and weeks before. I'd love to you to continue 25 Best Stores (in Brooklyn, especially!). But, also, here's what I like about this blog: the overall style & approach, which show you can love fashion and have a conscience, and have other things on your mind as well (and not necessarily have a lot of money). So. . . .more of all of that! Brava, Bunny! And Little Bunny!

Ooh, these are awesome, especially all the praise-y things. We will get that search box together tonight, and if anybody has a question for the Answer Guy, send it to us! We're betting we might be able to sweet-talk him out of retirement.

I especially love the discounts and contests, I get so excited. My very favorite is when you post finds from Etsy, I have a hard time sifting through items on my own to find what I want sometimes. I like knowing that I can visit your blog throughout the day for an inspired idea or good laugh. What about more updates on music?

Also, I'd love to see "PRACTICAL" entries. For instance, when you're going through your day and you see a NEED for something, it would be nice if you could post an entry about it for everyone else to learn from as well.
For example, say I want to go shopping for my boyfriend but I don't know what the hell to get him. An entry about you being in the same dilemma and offering solutions would be awesome!
Another example is, say I'm looking for really cheap, really inexpensive drugstore brand nail polish, but I can't decide on a color or a brand. You point the way along with the price range! By the way, I heard purple was really in for this winter/fall. :D

I agree with the search box idea, doing a site:bunnyshop.org google search is ok but not ideal. In other news... I would love some more 'complete outfit' suggestions, like, 'this is how we would wear such and such tricky yet beautiful item, what about you, how would you wear it?'
(in fact i think the reason I stumbled onto bunnyshop in the first place was because i googled 'how to wear leggings' or something equally clueless way back in the days when I thought they were a tricky item)

I'm probably alone in not missing Answer Guy, but there it is. I love the idea of showing how to work a new trend or item into an outfit or show how an actual, nonmodel human being can walk around the grocery store (or whatever) and not be laughed at.
