Reader Mail: La Voleuse Handbags

In today's Reader Mail:
Dear Bunnyshop and Lil Bunny,
So. We would like to point that the lovely La Voleuse has it all set up so that you can choose which strap you want, so the pictures above aren't exactly the sort that KQB is interested in. But they are as close as we could get. We love these bags, and own one of them, though in a now unfortunately unavailable navy velvet. But enough about yesteryear: Today's the day, and we have to say, our vote for Thursday bag goodness still goes to the Francia:
In my usual paper-writing procrastination, aka, bag shopping, I am revisiting the Thursday bag. What combination do you think has most year-around wearability and/or cuteness?
-Gold denim with tan tooled handles($230)
-Burgundy with black tooled handles ($210)
-Black with black tooled handles ($210)
thanks!
KQB

However, if we were to choose from those above: We'd go with black canvas, though with the brown leather handles. Everyone else, LB included, please offer KQB your opinion.
Above: Viva Francia Thursday bag, $180

Yeah, I'd go with the toile too, it's very cute. And on sale!

I vote for the burgundy.

Oh, how I covet these bags! I agree with Bunny - black with brown handles...and if anyone out there knows me and wants to by me a birthday present...

We are totally in love with the black with brown handles, and we would like it for a birthday present, in fact. Shame our birthday is in March!

I love the rust with white handles, personally. Also the dark denim. I'm afraid I'd get the toile dirty- but it is adorable! Of the ones in the original question- I'd go for Burgundy.

burgundy! black/brown is a failsafe combo, but who can resist a red?

Word to all the votes! I think the toile is cute too, but am concerned about getting it dirty. Are they washable?

I didn't know about these. I like them. But, tell me: are they really worth $200+? Do they hold up if you fill them with as much crap as they say you can? I like the dark denim (assuming it's black or almost black denim--anyone know?) and I even like the gold, but not with the gold handles--too much!

Really? $200+ for a shapeless sack? You can totally find cheap versions in this shape at Target or Old Navy. I say save the money for something truly fabulous like a Kooba...

I really like these, but cannot bring myself to spend $200+ for one. I just went to the website and found out they're going out of business by the end of the year. I'm hoping they'll have a blowout sale, 'cause right now prices haven't changed. If they did I'd probably order one.
