Continuing the Discussion: The Eye Makeup Remover

So! Following our mascara conversation from last week. There was a request for discussion:
how about following up this post with recommendations for good eye (or general) make-up remover? now that i've gunked my eyes up....
We only have one answer for this, and we speak as someone who enjoys the full-on raccoon look. Sephora eye makeup remover. It's all we use. This is partly because it's the cheapest one we can find, and it keeps us from going to bed with eyeliner caked into the grooves beneath our eyes. Altogether a happy occurrence.
xol.
But! Who has other suggestions?
Above: Sephora eye makeup remover, $5 (small) or $8 (large)

i use the aveda eye make up remover. i suppose it is on the expensive side (4oz. $15.00), but it doesn't irritate my eyes or dry out my skin.

here's a question within a comment:
does anyone know if aveda tests on animals?

I just use sweet almond oil on a bit of cotton wool It works, doesn't irritate and conditions my lashes (not sure about that last part but it can't be hurting them, right?). A bit greasy, yes, but if I've remembered (*been sober enough*) to remove my makeup in the first place, then I will wash my face before bed anyway, which takes care of any greasy residue.
Although I do have a cheapo regular (L'oreal I think) one on hand for when I mess up my makeup while applying and need to erase mistakes with a q-tip

I use straight jojoba oil, or if I have quite a bit of makeup on I'll use Marcelle oil-free eye makeup remover. I always follow up with a facewash anyway, so if the makeup remover wasn't perfect, eh, the facewash will get whatever's left.
Aveda does not test on animals, other than where they're required to by law.

The Botanicals eye makeup remover from the Boots line at Target is genius -- gets the job done, non-irritating, non-greasy, and cheap.

Two questions: 1) Do you think the Almond (or jojoba) oil prevents wrinkles (b/c my eye area is getting a bit wrinkly- either that or my makeup is getting into my lines and making them appear more noticeable) and 2) where do you get it?

I think jojoba oil is gentler on the eye area than most of the other stuff out there. I also use it as a moisturizer sometimes. I don't know how effective it would be for a wrinkle-fighter though. I buy mine at my local health food store.
