Bunnyshop Super-Duper Hearts: CB I Hate Perfume

These have got to be our favorite things in ages. We want all of them. They are our Beanie Babies of 2007. Here is the original recommendation from barret:
you can get the EXACT perfume you are looking for - beach, coppertone, salt air - at cbihateperfume.com/CBperfumeindex.html and check the "at the beach in 1966". i only opted for the small size which gives you not more than a thimble full but it is the exact beach perfume i was looking for and it has yet to fail that when i wear it, someone makes a comment about smelling the beach. i love it.
The other ones we are most excited about trying are:
1. Gathering Apples ("Thousands of Ripe Red Mackintosh Apples and a bit of old weathered wood from the bushel baskets")
2. Under the Arbor ("Grape Leaf is a scent that reminds me of some of the most beautiful places I have visited in California, Italy and France. ... This is the scent of Crushed Grape Leaves, Weathered Wood, Green Moss and Cool Earth.")
3. Mr. Hulot's Holiday ("The salty breath of the breeze off the Mediterranean, driftwood, rocks covered with seaweed and the smell of old leather suitcases")
4. Tea/Rose ("I composed this classic scent with real Tea (Indian Black) and real Moroccan Rose Absolute (Rosa Damascena). What could be more simple or elegant?")
5. CB Musk ("CBMUSK is a deep scent with a rich animal/erotic presence. It seems to fade into the skin causing the natural scent to glow."
It's like poetry + things that smell nice. Honestly, we want all of them.

Who is this Tom person who keeps popping up? Er, just kidding. But find us now at

I checked out this site after I read the post yesterday and I also love it! I so want to hop a flight to New York just to shop this place. The scent I would love, love, love is BABY BUTT, CLEAN. Or DIRT-SOAKED EARTH. Or WATER, FALLING. (And I want to know what YOU KNOW THIS is.) If you notice, there are tons only available in the gallery.
I remember seeing something like this at Nordstrom in Chicago years ago and have always wondered about it. What I saw though were just tiny scent boxes, not perfume. I guess something you would keep in your handbag and whip out when you need a boost. These accords could work the same way. Nose to pulse point. All good.

I just ordered the beach 1966 and the Mr Hulot's Holiday (supposed to smell like a Mediteranean Holiday) I'll let you know how they turn out.

m. hulot's holiday is a perfect, breezy, every day scent.
my favorite is Black March: Rain Drops, Leaf Buds, Wet Twigs, Tree Sap, Bark, Mossy Earth and the faintest hint of Spring Flower Bulbs.
Memory of Kindness is also wonderful: tomato vines
i'm so glad to see that he's added new scents. i can't wait to try them all out!

At the last magazine I worked for, I interviewed the creator, Christopher Brosius, at his store in Williamsburg. He's an incredibly interesting man, very cool personality and genuinely an artist in every sense of the word. The scents are really amazing, and his custom blends are an incredible process. I LOVE the beach scent.

Be forewarned about the CB Musk! It smells like pipe tobacco and very little else. Sexy, eh? But the others I've tried, Mr. Hulot's Holiday, In the Summer Kitchen, and At the Beach 1966 are beautiful.
