We had planned to talk about our favorite puffy coats—you know, warm ones! for cold weather! We don’t know what the weather’s like where you are, but if you’re anywhere near New York City—we might never need a winter coat again, the way things are going. So we decided, instead, to talk about one of our favorite gift shops. We’ve been told it’s the season of giving. This is the shop we find best able to deal with our wish that our presents (to give, not to receive, obvs) should cost less than $35.

As a paper-cutter, we are also fans of Rob Ryan, and would support the purchase of this bag of his. We went to his studio once and saw his giant jars of used Xacto blades and were like … wow. That’s it—just wow. There were a lot of them. Rob Ryan shopper bag, $30

For the right person, this could be exactly the right necklace. It’s very Pendleton-y without being $800, we think. Wigwam cross-stiched pendant, $30

We love a necklace we haven’t seen before, and this one has hand-cut leather on a bronze chain. Super position pendant, $34

Obviously, we are obsessed with maps. If you know someone else who is, they may very well enjoy this book. Maps by Lena Corwin, $35

We’d love to grown our own Christmas tree. Total self-sustainability! It’s on the way. Grow Me “Merry Christmas” tree, $7
