When we saw this cute graphic tee, we were like, that’s going to cost $200. We were wrong. By a lot. Click here for the sale item of the day.

Now, we’ve been making flight arrangements around this collection—our expectations are high! We have to say: We’re not entirely loving these pics. We’re wondering if we are being a bit stupid abaout this. However: expectations. High! We do love how bright everything is, we suppose. Picture 28

Well, we’re worried, if we’re honest. Click below for a few more looks—including our favorite, a sequin dress that has been styled so aggravatingly with a belt we hate we might not like it anymore.

So! We’re reporting from Miami for the next couple days. We love Miami, because we always get to see people dress like they would never, ever dress in Manhattan. Er, maybe in the Meatpacking District. But definitely not in Brooklyn. One of the emails we got when we figured out how to use the wi-fi was from Topshop, which said “Welcome to Miami,” which we thought was weird. But: fun collection! Not as glitzy as the actual Miami, we’re thinking, but fun, nonetheless.

We stood in the taxi line behind three Danes we are sure were international DJs, and all we wanted on earth at that moment was to be a fluent Danish speaker, because at least they weren’t showing their boobs off everywhere, if you know what we mean. Eh, it’s what happens when you travel on your own. We got over it.

Based on what we witnessed downstairs, these shoes might be the most Miami things in the Miami collection. Can we mention here that our dinner just showed up, and not only is there a pat of butter for the bread, but that butter has a little frosting of salt on top of it. This may be our new favorite food. Topshop platform shoes, $135

The funny thing (er, to us, anyway) is, we were just about to say something about how this would have to be about two inches shorter to rival the dresses we saw outside. And yet, this is officially a top. Um, not in Miami, apparently. Topshop color-block “top,” $36

And again—we bet someone could maybe remove the bottom two layers. Topshop body-con skirt, $44

And we have to say: We do not endorse this hat. We add it only so we can mention that we just saw someone wearing it in the lobby, only it was covered with silver sequins. Ooh, we know we sound all complain-y, but we’re totally into it after five months of Uggs, winter leggings, and black sweaters. Straw trilby, $40

Er, puns. We can’t help ourselves. Anyway: We love that a number of our favorite shops now have a separate tab for “playsuits.” (Because really, they are neither top nor bottom but both!) We can’t say why we love this. We’re not even sure we’d like it more if it were three inches lower. It just sort of is what it is, we’re thinking. Eh, sometimes what you really need to wear to a party is a bathing suit. P90X, we’re trusting you to get us there.

Mandate of Heaven playsuit, $250

So, two things: We're off to Winter Music Conference today—which, actually, we've never been to. Seriously we're leaving for the airport maybe nine hours early because we just cannot wait to get to the warm weather—tears were shed yesterday with that stupid, bone-curdling wind. (Fuck you, bone-curdling wind. Fuck you!) Anyway: Please please please please please (we're not begging—but please!) tune in for our WMC posts here, as we blog our way through the Bacardi B-Live event tomorrow night.

Also! We're resuming our week-long discount code extravaganzas next week, with Le Train Bleu, one of our very favorite shops in the world. In fact, if we weren't a fugitive from justice in Oregon, we'd go there all the time. So check out their site now, as the discount goes live on Monday. Our choice, especially for WMC, would be this jumpsuit, because we're pretty sure that few things say WMC like this exact jumpsuit. Ensaio Geral jumpsuit,  $154

Now: Fill us in on any other retailers we should be hitting up for a discount. We're open to anybody! Comment below….

Also—love this tank top! That is excellent. Cute from the front as well:

This is the handbag we'd buy if we had $100 to spend. Click here for the sale item of the day

And we're talking pure shopping – no bill paying, no food buying, no charity donations. Seriously, imagine that someone walks up to you, gives you $100 bill and says you have to spend it on STUFF or something horrible will happen to your family. What do you do?

We imagine – well, we hope – that our reaction would be wildly different if our family were being threatened. But we've come to learn that we are very good at shopping, but piss poor at buying. We hem and haw over decisions, we analyze from every angle possible, and we almost always second guess ourselves – this is how we bought 3 pairs of shoes last night, and have 2 to return today. Even though we can rationalize the entire purchase (3 pairs for $100; 2 are direct replacement pairs), we absolutely cannot commit to it. We think there must be something better out there to spend our hard earned money on!

So – we want to know. If you have to spend $100 on shopping, what would it be?

MXMJ sunglasses, $98 (we've seen them in person, they're far cuter than the picture above would lead you to believe)

Meh! Again we say meh! And why were there so few costume changes this episode? We swear, Serena spent most of the episode in the blazer-shiny shirt-skinny jeans combo as above. We liked it. But. Enough. Enough. Many, many more photos after the jump. There will be SPOILERS. More or less.
