We just wanted to say: We haven't seen a single piece at Target's Alexander McQueen \\ McQ collection we have any interest in buying. But: We just saw this dress for Matthew Williamson at H&M (er, lower left corner) in the new Lucky and went completely batshit. We're counting the days! (Until April 23, apparently, a date which is near and dear to our hearts, as it indicates that we will be spending our birthday this year in line at H&M.) In our opinions, both stores do excellent jobs of partnering with designers whose lower-cost stuff we want to wear—but H&M is better at producing clothes we want to actually buy. Do better, Target. We still angry about the Orla Kiely stuff.

I broke down last night and bought the McQ blue strapless dress with the tattoo print. I would have bought the scarf with the pink and black tiger if the dress had been cheaper. It may be Target and only maybe 10% the cost of a real Alexander McQueen dress, but $80 was still a big chink of my monthly clothing budget. I am pretty sure I am going to be adorable in it.
now I’ll stay tuned..
emm… really like it
