Cute shoes, but won’t that rubber wear holes in my foot skin? Ouch.
One must be careful with rubber shoes, I bought some sleek narrow shiny red rubber galosh/tennis shoes, and everytime I wear them people ask what kind of Crocs they are? AAARRRGH. Seriously, they don’t even look alike! So beware the Croc curse. NO ONE wants their cute Marc Jacobs confused for the new line of Crocs.
The Target version were knockoffs of these! I have these in pink and they’re very cute but they do get v.sweaty and uncomfy in humid rain. Not a smart idea ultimately:(

Rubber is for galoshes and waders and other things that need to be waterproof. And that’s all.
Target had shoes just like this for $5.99 last summer
