Amazing collection but we’re totally annoyed about roll-out, especially after we showed up at Target on premiere day only to (a) see no Orla Kiely and (b) get sucked into buying a Jillian Michaels workout book.
We’ve seen it, but it was a tiny little endcap and it was entirely disappointing. Better to have not seen it at all.
on our first trip, we found the orla (including the magazine holders and desk-ish boxes) on an endcap near the laundry/closet organizational stuff. on our second visit, we found the dishware and table linens, both on endcaps in those sections. i suppose this is logical, but we kept wondering whether there was more tucked away somewhere, and we’d missed it. we got a few things, but the predominant orange and green colors are a bit strong. that canister comes in a smaller gray-pears version, which is cute and not orange.
Target is a total tease with this stuff – my local one has no Orla.
yeah, it has been quite difficut. i’ve been staking out the collection online since 2/1 and was able to pre-order the mugs, tray, tumblers and canisters. (yes, i am orla obsessed.) you had to do a search on target.com until the 15th, when they actually had her stuff available under the home section. SUCH a tease.
and i had to hit up two targets in jersey–edgewater and north bergen. i cleaned them out of the magazine holders and storage boxes. apologies to anyone who may have looked there! i don’t think this stuff will go online and ebay is out of control.
in baltimore, i’ve only found the 2 elusive endcaps as well – one with the magazine holders and small organization bins; one with mugs, coasters, dish towels, aprons, placemats and the like. can’t seem to find the tray or canisters at all. blerg!
Which Target are you going to in Baltimore? I haven’t seen it at all!
I only saw one small display when I went last weekend-Dishtowels, a tablecloth, and one mat for the kitchens. I was disappointed, but I did buy the tablecloth!
Yes. It’s horrible. You can, however, find it on ebay already. What’s with that?
