This dress is the cheapest thing we have shared in a long time, at under $20. Which is about what we just paid for the world’s least satisfying lunch. Click here for the sale item of the day.

We love shopping for shoes. Ever since we were very small, and we got our first pair of heels (slate gray Easy Spirits. No idea why they made them for kids, but we remember playing kickball in them in the first grade). We still shop for shoes all the time, though we try to be a bit more age appropriate. We generally won’t shop online because of the unknown fit (our feet tend to be a bit wide), the shipping, and mostly, the wait. When we get new shoes, we often wear them out of the store – we want gratification 10 minutes ago, not 4-6 days from now. And why should we pay for shipping when we work near one of the largest malls in the country with a huge selection of shoes? It actually makes us mad just to think about it.
Endless.com might very well be the answer. They have free overnight shipping – as long as you place your order by 7pm EST. This is amazing to us. We can see a pair of shoes while we’re at work, think about them all day, order them when we get home, and have them the next morning. Amazing! Their prices are better than Zappos and Piperlime, and did we mention the shipping thing? And they have free returns, too! Their assortment is a little small, and there are no icons telling you something is Rachel Zoe’s favorite pick (personally, we do not find this to be a bad thing), but we’ll continue to shop them.
We can’t quite figure out how to lift images from their site, so we’ll have to use this picture of the DV Daisey sandals. We ordered these, we loved them, but they didn’t fit just right. We haven’t been able to find anything even close, and we are so, so sad about that. But we will keep looking!

We’re so baffled about LeSportsac: We feel like whenever we look at the website, we’re like, meh, but when we see one close up—no matter how aggravating the pattern looked previously—it’s all super adorable and we totally want one. We just thought we would mention the new pieces from the Stella McCartney collection. What a fun collaboration! We’re off to Target to investigate Rogan for T., but we have a feeling we like this one better.
Eh! See? We are both drawn to and repulsed by this bag. Difficult. Stella McCartney for LeSportsac hobo, $350
Ah, we’re haters, but we like the clothes. Clothes in general, rather than those specifically above. We actually really like SJP’s Nina Ricci dress here. But whoa, metallics, right? We really don’t like Kristen’s, or Kim’s, and Cynthia’s…meh. Yes? No?

We’ve talked about how much we love Baggu bags before. We are doing our best to be more eco-friendly; we use the same Sigg bottle over and over again, we have CFLs all over our house, and we do our best to try to bring reusable grocery bags to the store. We hate to point fingers, but other reusable bags just don’t cut it. A couple of the ones we have are super strong, but they’re super bulky, too – so forget tossing them in our bag for just in case use. Some of the less bulky ones we have just straight up ripped when we tried to carry a fairly normal amount of fruit – and honestly, we accept that bad things happen to good people sometimes, but who wants to see $10 of white peaches rolling away?
Here is where Baggu comes in. Super strong, but they pack away to a slip of a thing – we have sunglasses that take up more space. AND, we’re happy to say that they’re offering all Bunnyshop readers free standard shipping for this week. To qualify, you have to buy 6 bags and 1 storage sack (which is kind of awesome because it holds up to 10 bags, so you could just pull out however many you need without having to carry a huge amount of bags into the store). Enter code ‘Bunny’ in the coupon section at the checkout. Easy peasy.
Baggu is so awesome that they’re also sponsoring our newest reader contest. We want to know how green you’ve gone. We’re looking for the most drastic changes – so tell us how you’re doing your best to give back to the environment. Send us entries here; deadline is end of the day Friday. We’ll announce the winner on Monday!

Apparently we can’t resist the pun. In today’s Reader Mail (and please send us some!):
I am going to Cabo at the end of the summer. I’ve never waxed, but I
don’t want bikini razor burn or stubble. Can readers give their
opinions on waxing? How long it lasts for them, pros, cons?
Also, lasering. Has anyone gone through this? Pros, cons?
Thanks!
This is another one of those questions we just absolutely cannot answer, as we can’t get our act together to do anything more involved than a triple-blade razor. (Which is sufficiently awesome.) But we’re sure some people out there can. Advise, people!

It’s summer! We maintain this is so, even where it is cold. In fact, even where it is actually autumn, like South Africa, where we are writing this post. And when it is summer, it is crucial that we wear summer clothing, and eat summer things: ergo our summer-recipe contest. You sent us your recipes, which we are about to share, and we will pick a winner at random—and that person gets this adorable Cape Madras mini mini-skirt. Love it!
Now, the recipes. It’s not too late to share yours. Just send it to us! Easy peasy. If you want to skip ahead, click here for the next entry.
This recipe is from C.:
There is a restaurant here in SF called Millennium. It is unbelievable. It’s a bit pricey for me so sometimes instead of sitting down for a full meal I like to sit at their bar and order a martini and the fried oyster mushrooms. These oyster mushrooms are delicious!! I found the recipe online a while ago and have made this a number of times now. I highly recommend it as a spring/summer appetizer. (Oyster mushrooms are in season now! Pick em up at your local farmers market!) This is also a vegan dish—I’m thinking it has got to be a whole lot healthier than real fried calamari.
Sesame-Crusted Oyster Mushroom Calamari with Toasted Sesame Carrot Salad
Carrot Salad
Assemble this salad first as it can easily sit aside in its flavors while the mushrooms are being prepared. For speed in the kitchen, plate the salad so that the fried mushrooms can be easily transfered over, and the dish finished in a snap.
Using one 6-7 inch carrot per 2 servings, grate the carrots into a large mixing bowl, using the small holes on a typical box cutter (what you grate cheese with). Snip over the carrots some green onion, and sprinkle a Tbs or so of toasted white sesame seeds and some black sesame seeds for color and contrast. Drizzle the salad with toasted sesame oil, a splash of rice wine vinegar and a sprinkle of soy sauce: just like a vineaigrette (1part vinegar:2 parts oil).
To assemble the dry coating for our mushrooms, mix together in a bowl:
* 1/4 cup rice flour
* 1/4 cup finely ground corn meal
* 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
* 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
* 1/2 tsp salt
* 1 Tbs carefully toasted black sesame seeds
In a small sauce pan, bring 1 inch of canola oil up to heat. Have it hot enough to brown a chunk of white bread in 30 seconds.
To dredge the mushrooms, first dip them in a cup of soy milk to cover. Then transfer the mushrooms with a fork to the container of dry coating. Put the coated mushrooms in a metal strainer and tap the excess coating off .
Fry up the mushrooms in small batches till golden brown. Place clusters of the mushrooms onto the grated carrot salad and drizzle with a touch more of toasted sesame oil, and sprinkle with more black sesame seeds.
At top: the mini mini-skirt in question, $88
