Well, I’m 4’8″, so I get pretty excited whenever anyone makes age-inappropriate kids’ clothes.
Or a 5-year-old boy who should dress like Thurston Howell, III.
Honestly, I can totally see it on a little flower girl or something like that at a very chic wedding.
You guys are too young. I grew up in the 60s and clothes like this were absolutely available to little girls (though I never saw anybody dressed like young Thurston Howell III). This is the kind of dress your grandma would bring you from Florida.
I can totally see my five-year-old niece wearing that dress. It’s girly, cute, and good for playing in… I don’t see the problem. Of course, if I saw a grown woman wearing a short yellow shift dress with weird fake jewelling around the neck, I’d wonder why she was dressed like a little girl. So maybe my ideas about what is and isn’t age-appropriate are backwards.
I can’t see my son putting up with that boy’s outfit though. Too fussy.
