In today’s Reader Mail:
Dear BS:
I’m just wondering—what’s your spring fragrance? Please survey.
Love, J.
Short answer: Acqua di Parma Colonia Assoluta. "A celebration of Italian freshness with a contemporary signature," says Sephora. "Awesome packaging," says us. "Plus smells nice."
Who else has an answer? Is J. the only reader out there who believes in the concept of seasonal fragrances?

Clean, young, fresh, this fragrance is a new rendition of her signature fragrance. http://herbalbeauty.blogtells.com/category/fragrance/
Bobbi Brown Beach.
Like Coppertone but more refined.
Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess is my choice for Spring/Summer. A grown up beachy coconut fragrance. The top notes are all about coconut and sand on me, then the middle notes come in with some soft sheer floral jasmine, and finally the finish is more coconut with a non-foody smelling caramel scent underneath. I love it so much- it makes me cry that its limited addition.
I also think of seasonal fragrance – I like a heavier scent in the winter and lighter in the summer. I just purchased Bulgari White.
It’s not new or cool, but I’ve worn Perry Ellis 360 for Women as my warm weather fragrance for years and get sooo many compliments from both men and women. It’s cheap and classic and you don’t smell yourself coming and going.
