Topshop had so many nice going-out tops that we had to mention them. So we know this shirt sort of looks like a bib or something here, but we saw this in Topshop, only in the slightly less bib-like navy, and we just whipped it off the rack (and put it on hold, to properly consider the purchase) and came back and they were all gone! We felt so smart we didn’t even mind that we just spent our last $50 on it. Swirly embroidered top, $50

And you know, we were a little iffy about the mix of chiffon and satin here, but we realized that if we just sort of closed one of our eyes we didn’t have to pay too much attention to the chiffon parts. Strappy corset top, $70
