As the super-fabulous Ms. Spinach (of the equally fabulous Fashion Is Spinach) mentioned below, there is an alarmingly big picture of us currently on view (along with an interview) at No Good For Me, one of our super-duper faves. We so took that photo ourselves, at art school, all, Look at our new bangs! Look! Look! And at all the computers in the background.
Anyhoo, we present a snippet:
share one of your deepest secrets to clothes-shopping success, pretty please?
Oh! Mm, I don’t know about secrets but I do have one rule I try to abide, which is that any purchase over $200 needs to be held overnight and then bought the next day. Basically I need to be treated like a six-year-old in a candy, ribbon and pony store.
Check it out if you would like to see just a tremendous amount of forehead.

aw, happy to help.
that was actually my favorite part. i routinely ask for a pony every christmas and birthday, and have pointed out on several occasions that mike could just go ahead and get me, say, a my little pony (preferably pink and purple, please!) to shut me up and satisfy my six-year-old-esque dreams, and yet he refuses. what a grinch.
Congrats! Great interview, so amusing. Btw, I read ur blog daily, and its the first I’ve heard of YOU writing a BOOK. When did that happen??
And i’m so happy I get to put a face to your writing!
We have to mention, we heard of this interview when we received a phone call from Lovely Friend who said, “do you realize that this interview exists? and I just walked by [a coworker]‘s computer and her face was there, large as anything?”
Lovely interview, though!
oh, man, and to think i was gonna go with “width=750″ on that image
kidding. thanks for linking us!
I have been reading BS for a long time but never commented…I would just like to say that you have a funny, unique, interesting voice and a beautiful face to match!
Yeah, and I am totally jazzed about TOTE BAGS…
yo, that line about CNN is freaking hysterical.
impromptu BS hearts since I’m killing time at the airport – I totally love how the jetblue terminal at jfk has free wireless. free! and it’s surrounded by a bazillion food options. since a dear friend has informed me that by definition airports are free-for-all zones foodwise and treatswise (no one told me this, puzzling) I am all over the beer and fries and nabbing glossy magazines pre-flight.
I’ve been a No Good for Me reader for a few months, and a Bunnyshop fan for just a short while, and it was such a treat to see my two favorite blogs in one spectacular post. Sorry being so late to respond!! I loved the photo, quite artsy.
So excited to hear about your book! Why didn’t I know about this sooner?!?! I am hunting it down and reading it in cover to cover this weekend.
