One is pretty but not that comfortable and one is very ugly but the most comfortable couch ever. So I think the point is that you have to look really hard to get what you want when dealing with craigslist furniture. Also, my best friend in Seattle got a great 3 piece living room set from Goodwill that is comfortable, pretty, and bedbug free. I say, go for it! My boyfriend has 2 couches from craigslist and they are fine. One is pretty but not that comfortable and one is very ugly but the most comfortable couch ever. It was an 8 ft, turquoise pleather sectional - it was the most amazing couch we ever had. It had never been used. Sadly, we had to get rid of it when we moved because it didn't fit up our new stairs. Our very first couch was also used, from a friend. It was less than awesome, but it was the same couch our parents have so it was oddly comforting. But - both times, no troubles!
